With gameweek 7 now complete we are nearly a quarter of the way through the season. Therefore we should be starting to see a number of players standing out from the pack in terms of fantasy points.
If you still have plenty of trades available then it may well be time to bring in those players offering good value and take out anyone who is underperforming or injured.
Each players score week-by-week is available on the website via the below link but the top performing defenceman are below to help –
- Evan Mosey (6.5M value) – 223 points – the speedy Mosey leads all defenceman this season in fantasy points largely due to his ability to play multiple positions and all situations. Injuries in Sheffield have meant he has played defence, forward and on the powerplay unit. Being classed as a defenceman means he gets more fantasy points for any goals and assists.
- Jamal Watson (6.5M value) – 185 points – Watson has been consistently putting up the points all season having put up at least 28 points in five out of the seven gameweeks. With only generally five defenceman on the flames roster he has a lot of ice time including on the powerplay and short-handed.
- Daine Todd (8.5M value) – 176 points – the experienced Daine Todd forms part of the formidable Sheffield blueline. Capable of finding the long breakout pass he has used his playmaking abilities to great effect on the powerplay.
Form players –
- Kevin Schulze (9.0M value) – 41 points per week average over the last three gameweeks.
- Imants Lescovs (7.5M value) – 20 points per week average over the last three gameweeks.
- Linden Springer (5.5M value) – 20 points per week average over the last three gameweeks.
