With gameweek 10 now complete we are now over a third of the way through the season. Therefore we have had a review of which players are currently selected the most from the 251 teams with a valid roster.
First up are the forwards and its no surprise that the league leader in goals, Brodie Reid, is the most selected with over a third of teams having him on their roster. Following not far behind are the Sheffield duo of Marc-Olivier Vallerand and Anthony DeLuca.
The top 10 are entirely made up of Sheffield, Cardiff and Belfast forwards except for Luke Ferrara of the Coventry Blaze.
Next up are the defenceman with representation from eight Elite League teams across the top ten. Evan Mosey is the most selected player in the whole game with a huge 47.01% and well clear of fellow GB players Ben O’Connor and Dallas Ehrhardt. The most expensive player in the game Griffin Reinhart is well represented although his points production so far this season may well see him drop out the top 10.
Tyler Beskorowany and CJ Motte lead the way for the goalies with over 30% each. With three “back-ups” in the top 10 it is clear some managers have opted to save money on their goalies in order to spend elsewhere.
Finally we’ve looked to see which Elite League teams are the most popular in the fantasy rosters. It’s no surprise that three teams near the top of the Elite League are also top of our list. Sheffield, Belfast and Cardiff each have over 15%, with Fife only having 3.96%. Strong recent form from Fife could mean you can get a step up on your competitors by bringing in some of their top performers.
