Congratulations go to Jon Newbould and his team “#caps” who are our runaway FHL UK League winners for season 2021/22.
After a solid first four gameweeks to the season “#caps” were sitting in 24th position in the league. Two weeks later they had flown up the league into 5th and by week eleven had moved into 1st. They had a bit of a wobble in gameweek fifteen briefly dropping down to second, but were back into 1st by gameweek seventeen where they would remain to the rest of the season.
The most impressive statistic is that “#caps” won the league by a massive 563.3 points and were 877.2 points ahead of third. GM Jon Newbould has done this by managing to get all the form players in the league in his team at the right team. This is shown by an amazing five team of the week awards during the season when they managed to outscore everyone else in the league.
With the win Jon gets the coveted FHL UK trophy, cap and puck. Please get in contact on one of the social media channels and we can arrange delivery.
As mentioned at the start of the season we have additional prizes throughout the season. Due to the Elite League randomly changing the gamesheets during the season we decided to announce these winners at the end of the season. Therefore look out on the website and social media in the next week for when we announce our winners.
