All the fixtures have been completed for gameweek 26 so we have our winners of the last 16 ties in the FHL UK Shield, unless there are any late changes to the game sheets before the change to the next gameweek.
After a high scoring week you needed to have over 500 points to have a good chance to get through. Defending champion “No Woman, No Krejci” looks to have made it through to the last 8 after beating “Odd Numbers HC”. Our previous monthly winner “Storm 63” are out after picking up just 396.6 points in the week. Going through in that tie is “Taking the Piche”.
One tie is still remarkably close with “A Team Has No Name” scoring 511.6 points against “Maple Flames” who have 507.9 points. If the Elite League change a game sheet by the end of Tuesday then this could change the outcome on this tie. Whoever loses though can consider themselves unlucky as both are in the top 8 in weekly scoring.
