Player Scores
The player scores have now been updated after week 2, unless there are changes to the gamesheets prior to the gameweek change on Tuesday night.
The clear top scorer last week was Cody Donaghey from the Cardiff Devils who had two goals and one assist, and goes straight to the top of standings overall. With just being on the roster for 19 teams in the gameweek those who had him will have significantly gained on their competitors. Sheffield’s Daniel Ciampini and Fife’s Kyle Osterberg both had 38 points in the week, and Jackson Whistle’s shutout gained him 36.6 points in just the one game to move him into fourth in the week.
Most of the top scorers from last week had a very quiet week this week with Ara Nazarian, Otto Nieminen, Quinn Preston, Mitchell Martan and Westin Michaud all having blanks having scored at least 30 points the week before. So at the moment it is difficult to pick up on those form players at the start of the season.

League Standings
Tom and his team “Bean Storm” remain in first place in the standings despite an average scoring week. It is all change behind though with Ryan Bells’ Belfast Bruins and Sarah Eastwood’s Haaralalalala moving into the top 3.
Top scorer of the week is Alastair MacMichael and Wetpit Adanacs who scored 286.4 thanks to captain Drydn Dow picking up 50 points on his own. Some well rounded scoring across his forward lines made up the rest of scoring with Troy Lajeunesse (32 points), Ryan Barrow (28 points), Stephen Johnson (25 points) and Andreas Heier (24 points) all having good weeks. The Wetpit Adanacs move into fourth in the league less than 10 points behind first.
Roster Moves
After Manchester brought in former first round draft pick Joe Morrow last week, they have doubled down by bringing in another defenceman with AHL pedigree, Matt Murphy. Since leaving University Matt has moved between the AHL and ECHL across the last three seasons before a couple of very brief stops in Europe before coming to Manchester. The 0.66 points per game in his ECHL games and 0.31 in the AHL is slightly less than his new teammate Joe Morrow but is higher than other defenceman who have moved into the league over the summer. His is added into the game with a 8.0M value but with Dallas Ehrhardt also priced at 8.0M who on Storm’s blueline will put up the most points?
As a result of bringing in these players Tommy Parran has now left the Storm which will give 14 GM’s having to use a trade to bring in a new player.
Upcoming Fixtures
Week 3 gets underway on Wednesday night this week with Manchester visiting Guildford, who have another home game against Belfast on Saturday. Belfast have a tough weekend as they go to Cardiff after their visit to Guildford. Elsewhere Dundee and Fife renew their rivalry with a home-and-home series over the weekend. When reviewing options for your captain selection it is worth knowing that Sheffield and Glasgow only have the one game this week.
Don’t forget you can make trades for week 3 up until the trade deadline at midnight on Tuesday night.
