Player Scores
The player scores have now been updated after week 11, unless there are changes to the game sheets prior to the week change on Tuesday night.
Once again the top scorers this week are generally those players who had three games over the week, just to highlight how important the schedule is when picking your roster. Cole Shudra’s twenty three GM’s will be over the moon to see him top score this week with a huge 56 points when you consider he is just 4.5M and has scored just 31 points in the season so far. Is this a one off or a sign of things to come? Just one point behind Shudra is Glasgow’s Luke Lynch who did all his scoring in just two games. Out of his three goals he had one on the powerplay and one short-handed.
Top goalie on the week was Matt Greenfield who scored 51 points thanks to his two wins over the weekend, with one being an impressive shutout of the Giants in Belfast. Top scoring defenceman was once again Marcus Crawford who had 48 points with one goal and three assists. Other notables in the top ten were Sheffield trio Patrick Watling, Mikko Juusola and Brett Neumann.
Another good week for Marcus Crawford keeps him at the top of the overall scoring with 267 points. The shutout for Matt Greenfield takes him back up into second with 239 points, while the reliable Drydn Dow is in third with 232 points. Good weeks for Ian McNulty and Ryan Valentini see them both move into the top 10.

League Standings
It was a close week behind our weekly winner with just seven teams scoring over 300 points, however Sarah Cutts’ “Mosey On Down” was the clear winner with 337 points, which is 27.2 clear of anyone else. She did it by having three of Sheffield’s top scorers with Matt Greenfield (51 points) and Mikko Juusola (34 points) being supported by captain Patrick Watling (76 points). A lot of the other scoring was done on defence with Marcus Crawford (48 points), Drydn Dow (23 points), Evan Mosey (20 points), Blake Thompson (20 points) and Reece Keely (15 points) all adding to overall total. “Mosey On Down” have moved up to 58th in the overall standings.
In the overall standings we have just one point separating the top two teams with the “Maple Flames” just ahead of “Brexit Hockey”. With the top four teams now over 2,600 points it is incredible that there is just one point between the top two. There isn’t much change behind as “The Kessel Run”, “Sick as a Parrottino”, “Ulett The Dogs Out” and “Spice on Ice” all scored between 275 and 304 points.
Roster Moves
There are a couple of new signings this week with Belfast signing young British defenceman Cameron Pound, who has been playing in Canada since 2013. He has played the last three full seasons at Saint Mary’s University with the numbers indicating that he is more defensively sound than a play-making defenceman. He is added into the game at 4.0M.
The Nottingham Panthers have brought in Austin Farley to their forward group. He has spent the last few years in Slovakia with a particularly impressive 2022/23 when he scored 46 points in 48 games. He has started off slowly this year with the same team so we’ve added him into the game with a 7.5M value. If he hits the heights of his 2022/23 production then he would be worth more than that.
Last signing of the week is former Latvian international Vitalijs Pavlovs, who joins the Flyers after also spending some recent time in Slovakia. A veteran of 281 KHL games, Vitalijs has played at a high level for a number of years before dropping down to the Polish and Slovakian league where you start to see the points production. The points per game are less than Austin Farley so he is added in with a 5.0M value.
There has been some departures over the last week with Logan Fredericks and Zach Vinnell both leaving their respective teams. If you have either of these players in your team then it’s time to bring in a new signing to freshen your roster up.
Matt Greenfield remains the most selected player in the game with him now being in 123 teams. Spencer Naas’ 28.4 week average over the last five weeks has seen him added by 8 more GM’s over week 11 to take him up to 31 teams overall. Peter Crinella was also brought in by 7 more teams although his blank scoring week won’t have pleased those GM’s. New Sheffield signing Dominic Cormier has also made a good impression as he has been traded for five times in the week.
On the other side, Belfast’s poor form has seen a fire sale on their players with Tyler Beskorowany (3 teams), Daniel Tedesco (3 teams), Ben Lake (3 teams) and Ara Nazarian (2 teams) all being traded away over the last week.
Upcoming Fixtures
We have the return of the cup this week with the quarter final fixtures starting on Wednesday. Fife, Guildford, Glasgow and Cardiff are then joined by Manchester and Sheffield on Thursday to start their quest for cup glory. For these teams it is basically an extra fixture. If we look overall this means that Sheffield, Fife and Cardiff all have three games this week so could be a good option for a captain pick. Cardiff however are away for all three games with two of these being against Glasgow.
The Coventry Blaze have two home games over the weekend when they entertain Belfast and Nottingham, who coincidentally play each other in Belfast on Friday night. Manchester also play at home again on Saturday against Fife having hosted their cup quarter final on Wednesday.
The Dundee Stars just have the one game this week after not qualifying the the cup quarter finals. They are at home to Cardiff on Saturday.
Don’t forget you can make trades for week 12 up until the trade deadline at midnight on Tuesday night.
