Player Scores
The player scores have now been updated after week 13, unless there are changes to the game sheets prior to the week change on Tuesday night.
Matt Greenfield takes the honours this week as our top scorer. His shutout in Dundee on Sunday gave him two wins for the week and 49.5 points overall. Dominic Cormier continues his good start to his Steelers career with 43 points in the week and second overall. Bradley Lalonde rounds out the top 3 with two powerplay assists contributing towards his 41 points.
Elsewhere in a tie for 8th we have four defencemen who all scored a game winning goal as well as an assist in the week, therefore Charlie Curti, Jake Bolton, Brady Norrish and River Rymsha all have 35 points.
Matt Greenfield’s good week has just taken him above Marcus Crawford to the top of our scorer list. His 304 points is four clear of Crawford’s 300, with Patrick Watling now in third with 291 points.

League Standings
We had only the one team who scored over 400 points this week, so Chloe’s “Never Greener” are this week’s top scorers with 422.1 points. This takes them up to 116th in the standings and in the mix for a monthly prize. In her team the goalie duo of Matt Greenfield and Rok Stojanovic both had shutouts this week for a combined score of 88.1. Then in defence Bradley Lalonde, River Rymsha and Charlie Curti all had at least 35 points. Up front Brett Neumann picked up 78 points as captain for the week, and then Alessio Luciani (30 points), Gary Haden (34 points) and Danny Kristo (29 points) all contributed towards the overall score.
In the overall standings we have a new leader as Ben Millard’s “Brexit Hockey” returned back to the top after having the second highest score of the week with 393.3 points. They are now 80.9 points ahead of the previous leaders “Maple Flames”, with “The Kessel Run” a further 8.5 points behind.
Roster Moves
There have been no new signings this week although Manchester Storm confirmed the release of Santeri Haarala. Big things were expected after we gave him a 8.0M value but just four points this season didn’t work for Manchester or the 19 GM’s who currently have him in their teams.
The race to sign Spencer Naas continues as a further 6 GM’s brought him in last week. His ownership has now increased from 11 in week 1 to 41 in week 13. Coventry duo Brady Norrish and Danny Kristo have been traded in by an extra 4 and 3 teams respectively over the week as the Blaze continue their good form.
On the other side, Zach Vinnell’s move to the Steelers has led to a bit of a fire sale with 4 GM’s moving on from him but Ben Lake’s ban from last week’s game led to him being traded away from 4 teams overall as well.
Upcoming Fixtures
We have plenty of games this week with the extra Boxing Day games being included. We therefore have teams with a four game week, starting with Belfast who play the second leg of their cup quarter final on Wednesday before then hosting Fife on Friday. They then travel to Fife and Glasgow to finish the week. Their opponents in the cup, the Coventry Blaze also play four times. They have a home-and-home series against the Flames after their cup quarter final, before rounding the week off against the Devils. The Manchester Storm are the final team to play four times as they travel to Sheffield in what looks like a tough task to get through in the cup on Wednesday. They then have a home-and home against the Panthers before hosting Guildford on Boxing Day.
After the cup game the Steelers are home again for two more games in the week against the Devils and Panthers. Elsewhere the Clan are away in Cardiff on Friday before having two home games against Dundee and Belfast to round out the week. Dundee are the only team to play twice this week and both of those are away from home, with Glasgow and Fife being the hosts.
Don’t forget you can make trades for week 14 up until the trade deadline at midnight on Tuesday night.
