Player Scores
The player scores have now been updated after week 18, unless there are changes to the game sheets prior to the week change on Tuesday night.
We have a few new names as the top scorers this week with Manchester duo Tyler Hinam and Cam Critchlow both scoring over 50 points in their two games. Both had two goals and four assists with Hinam scoring the extra two points for having the game winner against Glasgow. Brady Norrish continues his good form with 48 points on the week after his two powerplay goals. He is now averaging 30 points per week from week 14. On the same points as Norrish is Belfast’s Josh Roach after a long lay-off due to injury. Top goalie of the week was Antti Karjalainen who was part of the rarely seen goalless draw in the first leg of the cup game with Guildford. Both he and Eamon McAdam get points for the shutout and end up with 30.1 and 29.8 points respectively.
In the overall scoring Marcus Crawford extends his lead at the top after scoring 46 points for the week. After the Steelers suffered a loss up in Fife, Matt Greenfield only scored 3.2 points for the week, so falls even further behind. Brady Norrish is now the top scoring defenceman not named Marcus Crawford as his 386 points is one clear of Drydn Dow now. If we look at individual teams, Ben O’Connor is now the top scoring player for Guildford after a quiet few weeks for Peter Crinella and Lewis Hook. For Fife, Kyle Osterberg is just two points ahead of Troy Lajeunesse, and Tyler Hinam is now the leading Manchester Storm player after his great week.

League Standings
Our overall league leader “Brexit Hockey” is also our weekly winner with 375.2 points this week. Captaining Brady Norrish was a great call as he scored 96 points on his own. With Marcus Crawford, Drydn Dow and Ben O’Connor his team has the best scoring defenceman in the game and they scored 223 of the overall score. Up front there was a lot of solid scoring with Josh Nicholls, Spencer Naas, Gary Haden and Alessio Luciani all scoring between 22 and 25 points for the week. A bit further down in the league “BlazePrincess06” scored 353.5 points in the week after also captaining Brady Norrish. That was good for third in the week overall and to move GM Leigh-Anne and her team up to 164th in the standings.
Despite good weeks from “The Kessel Run” with 341.4 points and “Ulett the Dogs Out” with 313 points, they both lose ground on our weekly winner Brexit Hockey. They now nearly have a 100 point lead at the top.
Roster Moves
The only move this week was the departure of Andreas Heier from the Manchester Storm due to personal reasons. It’s been a disappointing season for him with only 45 points scored across the last ten weeks. There are 19 teams who will need to look at trading him away.
The race to sign Spencer Naas continues with another 8 teams bringing in the relatively inexpensive Dundee forward this week. He is now part of 68 teams, when 11 weeks ago that was just 14 teams. Our leading scorer Marcus Crawford is now up to 80 teams although it is surprisingly only one more team than in week 1.
The news that Quinn Preston has left Belfast was picked up by a third of GM’s who own him as he was traded away by 10 of the 29 teams for week 18. Mark Cooper and Charlie Curti have also lost ownership by 3 teams over the last week with Belfast not looking as productive as last year.
With us now reaching the end of week 18 we have another player value adjustment. The following players were the top ten scorers over the last six weeks so get a value increase of 0.5M. Here are their scores and new values –
Marcus Crawford (215 points) – 10.0M
Matt Greenfield (202 points) – 9.5M
Daniel Ciampini (194 points) – 10.0M
Mitchell Balmas (185 points) – 9.0M
