Player Scores
The player scores have now been updated after week 26, unless there are changes to the game sheets prior to the week change on Tuesday night.
For the second week in a row Otto Nieminen of the Nottingham Panthers is our top points scorer for the week. He picked up another four goals in the week including two on the powerplay for the extra bonus points. Cardiff’s Marcus Crawford returned to form with 42 points in the week with Marc-Olivier Vallerand and Tyler Hinam sharing third place with 40 points each. It was close for our top goalies of the week with Ben Bowns just beating Matt Greenfield by 0.3 points with his 37.9 in the week.
In the overall scoring Crawford closes the gap to Greenfield at the top although both players had a good scoring week. Mitchell Balmas is now over 100 points clear in third after another 33 points.

League Standings
Our top scorer this week is Andrew Savage’s “Andy Savage Macho Men” who scored 360.4 points in the week which was 34 points clear of anyone else. This takes them up to 45th position in the league overall. The big call was making Ben Bowns captain for the week and his shutout of the Clan on Sunday gave him 75.8 points. On defence their wasn’t much scoring apart from the 42 points of Marcus Crawford, but up front there was a lot of solid scoring from the majority of players. Tyler Hinam lead the way with 40 points but he was assisted by Mitchell Balmas (33 points), Daniel Ciampini (32 points), Alessio Luciani (30 points) and Mitchell Martan (24 points). Second place was Paul Edwards’ “The Kessel Run” and third was Pete Banton’s “Reyt Bunch of Tansey’s”.
In the overall standings our top two were separated by just 1.1 points in the week, so Ben Millard’s “Brexit Hockey” remain in first but Karl Seed’s “Ulett The Dogs Out” close the gap to just 4.1 points. These two are clear of the rest and look set to battle it out to the final week.
Roster Moves
There isn’t much change at the top of the selection standings but more GM’s have seen the consistent scoring of Mitchell Balmas as his ownership has increased by six over the week. Fife’s Troy Lajeunesse has also seen an ownership increase of three teams. The most traded out player is Tyler Beskorowany as he has been released by four teams. In terms of replacements we have seen Shane Owen, Jackson Whistle and Evan Weninger all have an ownership increase of two teams.
Upcoming Fixtures
We have some extra games this week resulting in a number of teams with three fixtures. They all start their week on Wednesday with two of them, Dundee and Guildford, playing each other in Dundee. The Stars then go on the road Friday and Saturday travelling to Glasgow and Belfast. Guildford then host Glasgow on Saturday before travelling to Sheffield on Sunday. The Steelers are the other team playing three times this week and their other two games are on the road in Cardiff on Wednesday and Nottingham on Saturday.
Cardiff continue their run of home games with another two this week. After the Sheffield game on Wednesday they welcome Nottingham on Sunday. Despite playing in Manchester last week, the Blaze and Storm play two more games this week with one at each rink. The Fife Flyers are the only team to have one game this week and that is at home to Belfast on Sunday.
Don’t forget you can make trades for week 27 up until the trade deadline at midnight on Tuesday night.
