Player Scores
The player scores have now been updated after week 27, unless there are changes to the game sheets prior to the week change on Tuesday night.
Nottingham’s Otto Nieminen was close to being our top scorer for the third consecutive week but had to settle for third with 43 points on the week. Joint first this week was Sheffield’s Mitchell Balmas and Guildford’s Jordan Klimek who both scored 50 points.
In the overall scoring Balmas continues his push to be top scorer overall as he leaps over Marcus Crawford into second now. He is now just 23 points behind Matt Greenfield. The top 9 scorers are all either Sheffield or Cardiff players so it make sense to have a full compliment on your roster from each team.
The link below has the updated scores.
League Standings
Our top scorer this week is Adam Asher’s “LeMayzing Panthers” who was the only team to score over 400 points in the week. The 430.7 points was helped by having Mitchell Balmas as captain. His 100 points was helped by having the other top scorer of the week, Jordan Klimek, adding another 50 from the blue line. Josh Roach and Colton Saucerman also scored 33 points and 28 points respectively. Up front there was some solid scoring from Otto Nieminen (43 points), Troy Lajeunesse (36 points), Spencer Naas (34 points) and Kobe Roth (20 points). This moves them into 50th position in the league.
In the overall standings our top two had good weeks but our current leaders “Brexit Hockey” gained an extra 31.6 points on “Ulett The Dogs Out”. The overall lead is still less than 40 points which could be made up by a good captains pick for the week.
Roster Moves
Matt Greenfield has now reached 150 selections during the last week and Brady Norrish is the only other player to have over 100 selections. Jackson Whistle is the most traded player this week having being added to 4 additional teams. If he continues to split time in the Belfast goal he could be good value and give you extra cash to bring in that in-form forward for the final few weeks. The red-hot Otto Nieminen was traded in by an additional three teams as well.
In terms of traded away, the injured Eamon McAdam has been dropped by five teams but he is still in 28 teams who might be waiting for a return before the end of the season.
