Player Scores
After 29 weeks we have finished the regular season and thanks to some rotation in the final few games, it was Marcus Crawford who scores the most fantasy points this season with 792. Mitchell Balmas just beats Matt Greenfield in to second place by 0.2 points (or two saves). They scored 776 and 775.8 points respectively.
We’ll send out some more stats after the playoffs have finished to show who was the most valuable players.
The link below has the final scores.
League Standings
The FHL UK League title was a battle of two teams heading into the final week. Ben Millard’s “Brexit Hockey” had a very useful 100 point lead over Karl Seed’s “Ulett The Dogs Out” but with plenty of games in the week there were opportunities for some high scores. “Ulett The Dogs Out” put up a good fight and closed the gap but “Brexit Hockey” claim the FHL UK League trophy this season. Congratulations to Ben!
Our top scorer during the week, and not for the first time, is Adam Asher’s “LeMayzing Panthers” who racked up 364 points on the week. Captain Mitchell Balmas only scored 26 points in the week but there was plenty of good scores up and down the roster to help them to a FHL branded puck. Taran Kozun was top scorer in the week with 55.5 points and he also had Kyle Osterberg (52 points), Evan Mosey (40 points), Troy Lajeunesse (38 points), Josh Roach (35 points) and Didrik Henbrant (27 points) who all got above 25 points for the week.
We can also announce our final monthly winner this year. Adam Asher’s “LeMayzing Panthers” also claim this with 1330.9 points over the last four weeks.
Roster Moves
Despite being rested prior to the playoffs and traded away by six GM’s, Matt Greenfield finishes the year as our most selected player, being in the roster for 143 teams. Brady Norrish finishes as the only other player with over 100 selections, at 101. Surprisingly Mitchell Balmas, who was the second highest scorer, was only the 17th most selected player.
The player with the biggest increase during the season was Spencer Naas, going from 11 selections in week 1 to 80 in week 29. Second was Troy Lajeunesse and third was Kobe Roth.
