This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
We have a revolving door on the Guildford blue line this week with Stephen Calisti leaving and former Giant Charlie Curti arriving. Although it is early to make changes Flames head coach Paul Dixon said “We did not come out of the gate as we had hoped, and when that happens you have to start to look at every item that may help including looking at the available player market.” Curti had a solid season last year in Belfast scoring 19 points in the league and has a familiar face in Travis Brown who will help him settle in. He is added in the game with a 6.0M value.
In terms of selections the most traded player this week was Manchester Storm’s Jake Durflinger, who was snapped up by an record 24 additional GM’s. This now takes him up to the tenth most selected player overall. Cardiff’s Zach O’Brien and Nottingham’s Kristoff Kontos are each in another 10 teams when compared to the previous week.
Cade Neilson was the most traded out player after 11 of the 43 GM’s who owned him realised that he has moved back to Utah in the ECHL as expected. The rest of the GM’s might need have not picked up on that he hasn’t turned up to training for a while.
Who’s Hot?
Going forward we will highlight those players who have hit form over the last few weeks and we are at the stage where we have the first value increase of the season for the top 10 scoring players. These are the below players who along with their points scores so far and what their new value will be after the game week changes on Tuesday night. Therefore if you want to trade for them at their current value then be quick.

Who’s Not?
In this section we will look at those players performing below their projections based on value and whose form has dropped off. Lets have another look at injury news or those players who didn’t play last week, and if we start in Glasgow they were missing twice high valued forwards in Liam Finlay and Cole Ully for their game in Belfast. In Guildford there was a nasty injury for Jake Coughler in the game itself and he will likely join Daniel Catenacci and Brett Welychka on the sidelines.
Upcoming Schedule
We have another busy week coming up with Glasgow kicking off a big week on Wednesday at home to the Coventry Blaze. They then travel to Manchester on Friday night and Sheffield on Saturday night for two tough away trips. The Blaze are the other team to play three games as they travel to Belfast on Saturday before heading home to play Cardiff on Sunday. We have another game on Friday night this week with Dundee hosting Fife, before they both play again on Saturday, with Dundee travelling to Nottingham and Fife welcoming Guildford.
On Sunday Nottingham have their second home game of the weekend and this time Belfast are visiting. Guildford and Sheffield round out the week on Sunday with a 6PM start at the Spectrum.
For your captains pick it is a tough choice this week with the teams playing three times both having a tough schedule which includes two away games. Maybe the safe bet is sticking with a Nottingham player or whoever is hot from your team at the moment.
