This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
The race to trade for Nottingham goalie Jason Grande continues as he once again was the most traded for player this week. His new GM’s will be pleased as Grande was the top scorer of the week with 51.6 points. Tied with Grande for the most traded for player this week is Dundee’s Brendan Harms and Coventry’s Alessio Luciani. We have some surprising decisions on players traded away and a lot of GM’s who will be ruining not keeping faith with these players for another week. Most traded away was Sam Herr, who was dropped by five teams, and then went on to score 48 points in the week. Nick Seitz was next up, being dropped by four teams. He was the second highest scorer of the week with 51 points.
Matt Greenfield looks to have the race for most selections tied up with his 116 selections overall, which is 11 ahead of Joe Morrow.
Who’s Hot?
There are just two weeks remaining in league play we need to look at who can get those big scores right now as playing the long consistent scoring game isn’t going to do much now. The players with the best chance of a big score are the goalies as a shutout win will mean at least 35 points. Lets look at the top scoring goalies over the last five weeks.
Jason Grande – Nottingham Panthers – 207 points
Matt Greenfield – Sheffield Steelers – 134 points
Mat Robson – Coventry Blaze – 116 points
Jackson Whistle – Belfast Giants – 98 points
Landon Bow – Glasgow Clan – 90 points
Ben Bowns – Cardiff Devils – 83 points
Jarrett Fiske – Dundee Stars – 82 points
Mac Carruth – Cardiff Devils – 75 points
Eamon McAdam – Guildford Flames – 66 points
Evan Weninger – Manchester Storm – 55 points
Our pick last week was Alessio Luciani who was the 13th highest scorer in the week with 31 points. This week we need to look at Belfast players as they have three games, all of which are at home against the bottom two teams in the league. Belfast are spreading their scoring around at the moment so lets stick with a safe bet in Scott Conway.

Upcoming Schedule
We have a number of teams making up their games in hand this week, and they all play on Wednesday. Belfast and Fife are two of those teams and they play in Belfast on Wednesday and Saturday. Belfast then play at home again on Sunday against Manchester, while Fife host the Steelers on Sunday. Glasgow are the other team to play three times in the week and they start at home to Guildford before travelling to Cardiff for the only game on Friday. They then round out the week in Coventry on Sunday, who are the only team to play once this week. The final game on Wednesday is Nottingham hosting Manchester.
On Saturday Guildford entertain Nottingham and Sheffield host Dundee, while on Sunday Dundee return home to host Cardiff.
