The FHL UK Shield competition is a mixture of a league and cup competition due to start about half way through the season.
Each team will be randomly drawn into small groups of four or five teams and then play against each other twice within that group alongside the normal gameweeks. If you score more points than your opponent in that gameweek you’ll get three points in your group.
At the end of the group phase the top points scoring teams will go through to a straight knockout cup competition.
If you can be the last team remaining then the FHL UK Shield trophy, hat and puck will be yours.
