A familiar face is returning to Belfast in what is a surprise move. The surprise is not that Lewis Hook has returned to Belfast, but that he was excelling in the Alps league with Kitzbüheler EC. Ten goals and ten assists in just sixteen games put him in the top 15 scorers in the league so the move wasn’t performance related.
This is Belfast’s gain who get a British international coming into his prime years who is improving year on year. He should help add some secondary scoring to Belfast, who can’t rely upon the Conway/Goodwin line all season no matter how consistent they are.
Due to Hook’s success so far this season his value is increased from last year to 6.5M.
