The end of week 9 also brings the end of the quarter finals of the FHL UK Cup. Once we go into week 10 at midnight on Tuesday we will be down to the final 4 teams left to fight it out for the cup.
Our current top two in the league are still in the cup with league leaders “The Kessel Run” comfortably beating the “Lucky Puckers” this week. They will play “Finisterre” in the semi-final after they made it through in the closest tie of the week, beating “Wildcat Miserables” by 17.5 points.
Second in the league, and our top scoring team of week 9, “Newark Trashers IHC” are convincingly through to face “Dyson’s Destroyers”. Will we get the top two in the league fighting it out in the cup final or can one or both of the underdogs spring a surprise and give their fans a day out at the cup final?
