With games still scheduled for today there will be no weekly updates as usual, however the new signings have been added into the game prior to the trade deadline. Lets have a look at the new signings –
Elijah Vilio – Elija has added some depth to the Dundee blueline and joins after spending the whole of his professional career in the ECHL. He spent the first half of the season at the Savannah Ghost Pirates where he returned to a similar points production per game to what he had in his first year. This would put him on par with some of the forward signings in the league. He is added at 6.0M.
Matt Tugnutt – Matt has joined Guildford after an up-and-down last few seasons. A solid start to his professional career in 2021/22 saw him have 25 points in 53 games. This led to a successful season in France with Chamonix before a slow start in South Carolina this season led to him being available. With so many new players lately for Guildford can he find a spot on one of the top two lines and make his 6.5M value look like a bargain.
Zack Phillips – Zack returns to the league with Manchester being his third team. He has played across Europe in various leagues and has generally point up points wherever he has been. In his last two years in the UK with Nottingham and Fife he has scored at least 45 points, and with three points over the last week another good season looks likely. He is added at 8.5M.
Finlay Ulrick – former Manchester forward Finlay Ulrick has signed a two-way deal with Sheffield for this season. It is unlikely he will be available for most games but is capable of putting up some points when he does. He could be an option for your team at 4.0M.
Bode Wilde – hopes were high for Wilde when he was drafted 41st overall by the Islanders in 2018 but the start to his professional hockey career has proven difficult by those high standards. At just 23 he is still improving and is a good player at both ends of the ice. We believe he will be able to put up some points offensively while logging minutes to help out the injury hit Devils defence. He is added at 6.0M.
