This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
After our signing deadline special last week we have a couple of late signings who were announced after our review. First up is Zack Hoffman who has made the move from Bloomington of the ECHL to the Guildford Flames to help out their injury ravaged blueline. He has not been a big point producer over his career so he is added at 5.0M. The other signing was Evan MacKinnon signing his first professional contract with the Fife Flyers. This was his fourth and final year at Dalhousie University in the Canadian system, where he was averaging just under a point every other game. He is added at 5.0M.
In terms of overall selections Matt Greenfield still leads the way with 118 selections with Joe Morrow second with 104. Josh MacDonald is now up to third with 91 selections. Alexis D’Aoust is the most traded for player again with another 10 selections last week. Jackson Whistle’s run in the Belfast goal has also come to the attention of our GM’s as he has been brought into another 7 teams. Dominic Cormier has been leading the Steelers scoring from the blue line lately and he has been added by an additional 6 teams over the week. Both Cormier and Whistle are up to 77 selections overall now.
Grant Hebert has been traded away by 15 players while he has now left the league. Ryan Bednard is still out with injury so he has been dropped by another 4 GM’s this week, while he replacement, Jason Grande, is now up to 23 selections. Rather surprisingly, Coventry goalie Mat Robson has also been dropped by 4 GM’s while he is still manning the Coventry crease each game.
Who’s Hot?
It is time for our final value increase of the season, so lets look at who are the top 10 scorers over the last section along with their new values –

Chase Gresock – 7.0M – Coventry Blaze – 376 points
Alexis D’Aoust – 8.0M – Manchester Storm – 324 points
Dominic Cormier – 8.0M – Sheffield Steelers – 322 points
Josh MacDonald – 8.5M – Cardiff Devils – 311 points
Jackson Whistle – 7.0M – Belfast Giants – 296 points
Patrick Watling – 10.5M – Sheffield Steelers – 292 points
Sam Herr – 9.5 M Nottingham Panthers – 288 points
Mitch Fossier – 10.0M – Nottingham Panthers – 282 points
Cole Ully – 9.5M – Glasgow Clan – 270 points
Our pick last week was Deven Sideroff who unfortunately just had the 10 points across the three games. We’ll try again this week and go again with one of our teams playing three times. Lets go with Nottingham this week while they have two home games playing Dundee and Fife in the league, while also playing a must win home game against Belfast in the cup. Based on the value increases above Sam Herr is the most in-form so lets go for him.
